Who Should take this tour?

Anyone who loves food, history, and an "insider" perspective of Boston. This tour is for locals and tourists alike, and our purpose is to have fun, learn, and taste some great food!

Are Children welcome on the tour!

Yes! The love of learning and food begins with the young! but remember this is a walking tour, and there'll be a lot of information that might be a bit overwhelming for young children. Strollers would be difficult on this tour because the streets are often very narrow and crowded.

Okay. How much?

The cost of the tour is $75 for each adult, tax included. Kids under 12 are half-price.

Where does the tour start and end?

The tour will begin and end at the same spot, which is in North Square directly across the street from the Paul Revere House. That's where the North End begins, so it's where your tour begins!

How long is the tour?

The tour will last about two and a half hours. There'll be frequent stops along the way!

Is that rain or shine?

Yes, within reasonable limits. In the event of extreme weather, though, we'll issue a certificate that we'll honor for a future tour which you may schedule at your convenience.

How many people will there be on a tour?

I want the experience on the tour to be personal and intimate. So no more than 12 people per tour.

Will there be alchohol on the tour?

Yes! We'll discuss wine and participate in a wine tasting!

Can I take pictures on the tour?

Yes, absolutely!! Photography is strongly encouraged! The North End is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in America with beautiful pictures around every corner, just waiting for you to take them!

What if I have a food allergy?

Please inform us if you have an allergy so I can plan some alternative options. We want everyone to particpate on the tour.

What kind of things will we be doing on the tour!

This is more than just your typical food tour. We'll not only be tasting food along the way, but we'll witness food demos of how to make fresh pasta! And how to make artisan bread! We'll discuss the North End's unique history in relation to Boston and to the rest of the country!

What kinds of things will we eat?

We're going to visit the birth place of Sicilian pizza in America, and taste it! You'll eat the best chocolate chip cookie you've ever had! Try homemade gelato! Organic wines! Absolutely the best Arancini outside of Naples! And so much more.......chocolate ... homemade pasta ... cheese! Everything good in life!

Is it possible to book a private tour for a business or family function?

Yes, indeed! We love putting together private tours for corporate events, sales incentives, destination planners, family celebrations, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and reunions, alumni groups and many other special purposes. We'll even send a guide to your hotel to make sure you don't get lost on your way to the North End.
