Paula N Taylor

Olive grove in Greece

Hi, I'm Paula and I often refer to myself as a NINE ( Non-Indigenous North-Ender) I have been living and working in this amazing neighborhood since 2000. My first experience of the North End was in 1998, on a tour of the Freedom Trail. At that time the neighborhood was barricaded by a highway. While walking under it and entering the neighborhood, I remember feeling like I had been transplanted out of Boston and teleported to Italy. The feeling was so profound. A few years later I found myself in Boston for University and knew where I would settle. Since I have started this tour, my love for the people, cuisine, and culture has only deepened. When I am not touring, I enjoy participating in local community theater, I've been an elected official on the North End Waterfront Residence association, and the North End Historical Society. I enjoy cooking Italian food, hanging out at the local Caffe, and most importantly spending time with my family. I am a proud mom of two boys 5 and 3.
