Paula N Taylor

Olive grove in Greece

PAULA TAYLOR fell in love with Boston's North End the first time she stepped on Salem Street, more than fifteen years ago. Five years later, she officially made it home, and the old world charm, waterfront, and fantastic food are keeping her rooted in the tightly knit North End community. Before moving to Boston, Paula spent two years travellng the world and gaining a deeper appreciation for good, local food. She has spent long periods of time in Greece helping her family in their numerous olive orchards, where they have been practicing organic farming for over 20 years.

Paula has been a very active member of the North End community, serving as Sergeant at Arms for the North End Waterfront Residence association and a member of the North End Historical Society, and has even performed in the last two community theater productions. A love of food and the North End neighborhood is what inspired Paula to found Off The Eaten Path Tours.

When not giving tours, her favorite activities include photography, cooking meals for friends, reading fiction, traveling with her husband, and exploring new restaurants in the Boston area.
